True to the roots

Djamu by Sha

Shanley, the founder of Djamu, was born in Indonesia and spent her childhood in her parents' garment factory in Bandung, West Java. Her family has a rich tradition of herbal medicine, with her mother and grandparents being successful herbal pharmacists who developed remedies for dengue fever in Indonesia. Growing up, Shanley had the opportunity to test and consume various South Asian medicines and herbal tonics created by her mother. This sparked her interest in creating her own herbal tonics to promote a healthy lifestyle.

As a teenager, Shanley moved to the USA for school and later worked as a Head Designer and Creative Director for various design corporations in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Belgium. However, it was during the pandemic that Shanley's passion for herbal medicine truly flourished. With a strong belief in the power of her Djamu, she dedicated herself to making and distributing it, aiming to help people enhance their immune systems against various illnesses.

Embracing the Earth's Natural Power

At Djamu, we are committed to using fresh, organic ingredients and eco-friendly packaging. We believe in expanding people's palates and challenging the notion that healthy drinks are limited to green or red varieties.

Our dedication to sustainability extends to our packaging choices. We prioritize sustainable materials and minimize the use of plastic, as we deeply care about your well-being and the health of our beautiful world.

We kindly ask you to join us in showing the world that you care by reducing plastic bottle consumptions. Together, we can make a positive impact on the environment and create a healthier future for all.
